February 28 (SeeNews) - The main indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Thursday, with telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] pacing the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Tesla closed 2.38% higher at 1,075.00 kuna.
Wednesday's biggest gainer, power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] paced the decliners on Thursday, as its shares shed 12.03% to 6.14 kuna.
Hotel operator Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] generated the highest turnover on the ZSE on Thursday, of 2.77 million kuns, thanks to a block deal worth 2.04 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 10.05 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) on Thursday, from 6.3 million kuna on Wednesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX share index edged up by 1.02% to 1,798.98 after falling by 0.11% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose by 1.05% to 1,047.48 after decreasing 0.13% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS edged down by 0.01% to 110.8958.
