February 24 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Monday, as Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] led the blue-chip losers, after gaining the most in the previous trading session, ZSE data showed.
The telecommunications equipment manufacturer's shares closed 8.59% lower at 1,330 kuna on Monday.
None of the blue chips posted gains on Monday.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] recorded the highest turnover among the blue chips on Monday, of 9.1 million kuna. The company's shares closed 7.26% lower at 34.50 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] boosted Monday's total trading turnover with a block transaction of 3.5 million kuna. The company's shares traded 2.48% lower at 177 kuna, in a total daily turnover of 8.6 million kuna.
On Monday, ZSE's total trading turnover soared to 56.3 million kuna ($7.5 million/8.2 million euro) from 12.8 million kuna on Friday.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 4.91% to 1,922.40 after edging up 0.04% on Friday.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, shed 4.31% to 1,149.65 after losing 0.08% on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 115.4828.
