SKOPJE (Macedonia), February 13 (SeeNews) – Eptisa Romania won a deal worth 900,100 euro ($1 million) to provide supervisory services on the upgrade of the Bitola-Kremenica railway section in Macedonia, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Friday.
The duration of the contract is 38 months, Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The non-electrified single-track railway section Bitola–Kremenica, in the south of Macedonia near the Greek border, with a length of some 17 kilometres, is part of pan-European Corridor X.
The project will be financed under the European Union’s IPA programme.
