December 2 (SeeNews) - Power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) [MNG: EPCG] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Montenegrin stock exchange in November, as stock indices ended down, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed down 1.21% in November at 890.59 points.
The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, went down 0.29% in November and closed at 12,616.62 points.
A total of 704 EPCG shares changed hands in a turnover of 2,258 euro in November. EPCG lost 8.8% on the month to 3.2079 euro.
Crnogorski Telekom [MNG:TECG] led the blue-chip gainers in November, as its share price rose 13.3% on the month to 1.6699 euro. A total of 17,614 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 29,413 euro.
The bourse's total turnover grew in November to 14.0 million euro ($14.7 million) from 1.2 million euro a month earlier.
A total of 74 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in November, versus 124 in October. Stock market capitalisation was 3.310 billion euro at the end of November, down from 3.336 billion euro a month earlier.
