April 1 (SeeNews) - US-based IT company EPAM Systems has moved to Montenegro part of its Ukrainian business following Russia's invasion and plans to expand its presence in the Adriatic country, the Montenegrin government said.
One of EPAM Systems' priorities is to expand the business in Montenegro and create conditions for the development of the local IT industry, including new professional training and development of local talents, as well as creating new business opportunities, the company's founder, CEO Arkadiy Dobkin said on Thursday, according to a statement by the Montenegrin government.
Currently, the Montenegro office of EPAM Systems has about 200 employees, Dobkin said during a meeting with Montenegrin deputy prime minister Dritan Abazovic.
In March, EPAM Systems, which has about 14,000 employees in Ukraine, said it is executing business continuity plans and accelerating hiring across multiple locations in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and India.
