December 26 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 20,000 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 20.4 million dinars. Energoprojekt gained 0.89% and closed at 1,019 dinars. It was also the leader on the blue-chip gainers' list on Tuesday.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, fell 0.22% to 740.70 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index decreased 0.01%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.25% on Tuesday and closed at 1,625.80 points, after going up 0.06% on Monday.
Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, as it lost 4.02% and closed at 430 dinars. Investors traded 279 shares of the company, generating a turnover of 119,970 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 25.6 million dinars ($256,600/216,300 euro) on Tuesday from 354.6 million dinars on Monday, as 213 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 400,740 dinars.
