February 6 (SeeNews) - Serbian civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] and oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated more than two-thirds of the total share turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Monday, as share indices rose, bourse data indicated.
NIS was the most traded company on the stock market on Monday, as 2,698 of its shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2 million dinars. Energoprojekt was the second most traded company, with 1,806 shares changing hands in a turnover of 2.18 million dinars. NIS closed unchanged at 742 dinars, while Energoprojekt edged down by 0.17% to 1,207 dinars.
The total share turnover on the Belgrade stock market declined to 5.48 million dinars ($442,086/442,133), generated in a total of 193 transactions, from 34.2 million dinars on Friday. Trading in shares on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment contributed 1.063 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade stock market.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on Monday on the Belgrade stock exchange.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, won 0.44% to 700.12 points. On Friday, the index lost 1.07% to 697.07.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell by 0.25% and closed Monday's session at 1,540.17 after falling by 0.78% to 1,536.27 on Friday.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, winning 4.60% to 1,798 dinars, as only seven shares were traded.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] lost 1.87% to 1,100 dinars, with 36 shares changing hands in 18 transactions.
