March 6 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] was the most traded stock and generated the highest share turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Monday, as share indices rose, bourse data indicated.
A total of 23,370 Energoprojekt shares changed hands in 35 transactions, generating a turnover of 32.1 million dinars on Monday. Energoprojekt was also the second-biggest gainer on the stock market, after adding 2.61% to 1,375 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the gainers' list on the Belgrade stock market on Monday. The company won 6.16% and closed the session at 1,275 dinars, generating a stock turnover of 10.8 million dinars, as 8,442 shares changed hands.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, added 0.50% to 725.80 points, its highest level since April 14, 2015, when it closed at 726.02. On Friday, the index rose 0.25% to 722.19.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased 0.27% and closed Monday's session at 1,582.59 after gaining 0.42% to 1,566.17 on Friday. The index hit its all-time high on December 13, when it closed at 1,589.21.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Monday, as it erased 4.44% and closed at 1,636 dinars. A total of 62 shares in the lender were traded in only two deals, generating a stock turnover of 101,440 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse grew to 50.9 million dinars ($435,711/411,206 euro) on Monday from 74.7 million dinars on Friday. A total of 388 transactions were carried out on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, compared to 987 on Friday. The total share turnover on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment came in at 3.9 million dinars on Monday.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 427.2 million dinars to Monday's total trading turnover of 478.1 million dinars. A total of 3,200 securities of the euro-denominated RSO1330 issue changed hands in a single deal. The RSO1330 issue bears a coupon of 4.5% and matures on April 18, 2018.
