March 15 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
Energoprojekt won 3.23% and closed at 703 dinars. A total of 1,375 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 965,271 dinars.
Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover of 8.6 million dinars on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as 3,766 of its shares changed hands. NIS lost 0.14% and closed at 729 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.14% to 744.88 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index rose 0.27%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.16% on Thursday and closed at 1,565.19 points, after increasing 0.18% on Wednesday.
Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Thursday, as its share price fell 2.09% to 281 dinars. A total of 920 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 258,195 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 371.8 million dinars ($3.88 million/3.14 million euro) on Thursday from 14.3 million dinars on Wednesday, as 342 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.7 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 238.6 million dinars to the total turnover of 610.5 million dinars on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
