March 14 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
Energoprojekt won 4.61% and closed at 681 dinars. A total of 22 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 14,982 dinars.
Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover of 8.6 million dinars on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as 11,806 of its shares changed hands. NIS won 0.41% and closed at 730 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.27% to 743.84 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index rose 0.33%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.18% on Wednesday and closed at 1,562.71 points, after increasing 0.17% on Tuesday.
Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday, as its share price fell 1.03% to 287 dinars. A total of 212 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 60,856 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 14.3 million dinars ($149,336/120,816 euro) on Wednesday from 15.2 million dinars on Tuesday, as 342 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.2 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 177.4 million dinars to the total turnover of 191.7 million dinars on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
