June 15 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated more than half of the entire share turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
Energoprojekt generated a share turnover of 24.9 million dinars, and was the most traded company, as 16,598 of its shares were traded in 21 deals. The company closed flat at 1,497 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as its price rose 2.27% to 450 dinars. A total of 156 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 70,200 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, lost 0.18% to 718.61 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index closed flat at 719.91.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, edged up 0.03% on Thursday and closed at 1,550.13. The index declined 0.12% to 1,549.72 on Wednesday.
Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners on Thursday, as it lost 1.28% to 696 dinars. The company generated a share turnover of 271,333 dinars, as 390 of its shares changed hands in 24 deals.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 39.6 million dinars ($362,199/324,809 euro) on Thursday from 67.6 million dinars on Wednesday, as 115 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 2 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.04 billion dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 1.079 billion dinars on the bourse. Four transactions of Treasury bonds were carried out on Thursday. A total of 19,068 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15105 issue changed hands in a single deal. The bonds bear a coupon of 10% and mature on March 2, 2018. Investors also traded 30,000 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15124 issue, bearing a coupon of 6% and maturing on October 26, 2017. Two deals involving a total of 50,000 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15127 issue were also carried out. The issue bears a coupon of 6% and matures on December 14, 2017.
