BELGRADE (Serbia), January 18 (SeeNews) – Belgian renewable energy group Elicio plans to complete the installation of the turbines at the 42 MW Alibunar wind farm in Serbia by September, a senior company official has said.
Elicio plans to start the delivery of parts of the 21 turbines of the wind farm at the beginning of February and will complete it in May, the engineering, construction and operations director of the company, Peter Goderis, said in a video file posted in the YouTube channel of regional public broadcaster Radio Televizija Vojvodine (RTV) on Wednesday.

The Belgian company plans to complete the construction of the foundations of the wind turbines by the end of January, Goderis added.
Elicio started the construction of the Alibunar wind farm in October and plans to invest a total of 72.64 million euro ($88.9 million) in the project, the Serbian energy ministry said last year.
The Alibunar wind farm will consist of 21 turbines, each with a nominal power of 2.0 MW, that will develop their maximum output at a wind speed of 11 m/s. Underground 33 kV cables are planned to connect the turbines to the medium voltage network at a 33 kV station and through a 33/110 kV transformer specially built for the wind farm.
