March 25 (SeeNews) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) said it is considering lending 170 million euro ($186.3 million) to ProCredit Bank units in several Southeast European countries as well as in Ukraine and Georgia to back small- and medium-sized enterprises, mid-caps and other private or public sector projects.
The loan will target Procredit Bank's units in Romania, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia, the EIB said in a statement on Tuesday.
The proposed loan is currently under appraisal.
