CROATIA'S PODRAVKA SIGNS DEAL TO BUY 51.55% ZITO STAKE FOR 33 MLN EURO
Croatian food, beverage and drug producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR-R-A] said on Tuesday it has signed a deal for the takeover of a 51.55% stake of Slovenian food company Zito [LJE:ZTOG].
The deal price for the takeover of 183,386 Zito shares is 33 million euro ($35.2 million), or 180.1 euro apiece, Podravka said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

SERBIA'S MK GROUP UNIT, PARTNERS LAUNCHING TAKEOVER BID FOR AIK BANKA
Serbian sugar maker Sunoko, part of vertically-integrated agro-industrial conglomerate MK Group, and partners are launching a takeover bid for 2,610,495 regular and 732,116 preferred shares of local lender AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB], a bourse filing indicated on Tuesday.
The stake eyed for takeover represents a total of 28.86% of AIK Banka's voting rights. The offered price is 1,800 dinars ($16/15 euro) for each regular and 954 dinars for each preferred share that is targeted, the brokerage in charge of the transaction said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

KMG INTL BORROWS $360 MLN FROM FOUR ROMANIAN BANKS
Netherlands-based KMG International NV, formerly The Rompetrol Group, said it is borrowing $360 million (331 million euro) from a syndicate formed by Romanian lenders BCR, ING Bank N.V. Amsterdam – Bucharest Branch, Raiffeisen Bank and UniCredit Tiriac Bank.
The group signed a three-year Senior Secured Multicurrency Revolving Credit Facility with the banks, it said in a statement on Thursday.

SOFIA CITY COURT DECLARES CORPBANK INSOLVENT
The Sofia City Court said on Wednesday it decided to declare Bulgarian lender Corporate Commercial Bank [BUL:6C9] insolvent.
The court set November 6, 2014 as the starting date of the insolvency and halted the operations of Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank), the court decision indicates.

TUI LOOKS TO SPLIT AIRPORT TO LATCH ONTO NORTH DALMATIA'S RISING POPULARITY
Travel services group TUI sees tapping the passenger growth potential of Croatia’s Split airport as key to capitalizing on north Dalmatia’s rising popularity among holiday-makers, a senior company official said.
Split is Croatia's biggest coastal city and the main gateway to the northern part of the Dalmatia region for travelers arriving by air.
“TUI Germany has recorded for years an almost continuous growth and still sees great potential for the country. Dubrovnik has been a growth driver and now north Dalmatia is gaining significantly in popularity with the new flights to Zadar offered by the group’s leisure airline, TUIfly,” the head of product management Croatia at TUI Germany, Robin Wilbertz said.
