Last month, the Commission enacted a ban until June 5 on the import of wheat, maize, rapeseed and sunflower seed and offered a support package totalling 100 million euro ($107.2 million) to farmers in the five frontline EU member states deemed most affected by agri-food imports from Ukraine.
Bulgaria will receive 9.77 million euro out of the 100 million euro support package offered by the Commission to the frontline EU member states from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
