SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 7 (SeeNews) – The European Commission has placed Bosnia on its list of countries that are allowed to export all types of milk and dairy products to the EU, the country's minister of foreign trade, Mirko Sarovic, said.
"The decision [...] is a great success for our dairy industry," Sarovic said in a press release on Monday.
Bosnia has up until now only exported thermally processed milk to the EU, but can now begin to export milk with a lower degree of pasteurisation and raw milk.
"We are one of the few countries outside the EU which meets the conditions for the export of all kinds of milk, which speaks about the progress of our entire system and our dairy industry," Sarovic noted.
