March 22 (SeeNews) - The European Commission (EC) said that it has approved a state aid scheme worth 103 million euro ($111 million) to support the construction of electricity storage facilities in Romania.
The scheme will be partially funded through Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPRR), the Commission said in a press release on Tuesday.
Each project will receive a maximum of 15 million euro in funding.
The projects must be selected by December 31, 2023 and executed by December 31, 2025.
