PRISTINA (Kosovo), August 28 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide around 120 million euro ($140 million) in funding to Kosovo next year, Kosovo prime mnister Ramush Haradinaj said.
The EBRD also confirmed it will finance the upgrade of the capital Pristina’s ring road which is expected to start in 2019, Haradinaj said in a Facebook post on Monday after a meeting with EBRD president Suma Chakrabarti.
To date, the EBRD has signed over 50 projects in Kosovo with a net cumulative business volume of more than 227 million euro. Kosovo became an EBRD member and country of operations in December 2012.
