LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 19 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Thursday it is seeking a consultant to provide assistance to Slovenia's central bank on selected corporate governance issues.
The consultant should review the central bank’s methodologies and procedures with particular reference to the assessment of the suitability of board members, the remuneration policies and the structuring of internal control framework of banks, the EBRD said in a statement.
Its activities would also include the development and assistance in the implementation of a new methodology in line with best practices and the EU legislation as well as the provision of training to Slovenia's central bank on how to effectively implement the methodology.
The assignment is expected to start in July and has an estimated overall duration of 12 months, the EBRD said.
Its cost is estimated at 176,000 euro ($239,450).
Expressions of interest should be sent by July 4.
