BELGRADE (Serbia), January 4 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said on Wednesday it is seeking a consultant to draft a feasibility study for a water upgrade project in Subotica, in northern Serbia, co-financed by the lender.
The maximum budget available for the assignment is 196,200 euro, value added tax (VAT) excluded, the bank said on its website.
The task will be financed by the Austrian Fund for Municipal Infrastructure.
Letters of interest should be sent by January 25.
The key specific objectives of the feasibility study is to define a bankable project to improve water supply and wastewater services in Subotica and its surroundings and to develop affordable cost effective investment programmes in the water and wastewater infrastructure.
The plant, with total investment costs of 17.5 million euro, is expected to become fully operational in 2012.
