LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 28 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it is seeking a consultant to provide research coverage for selected listed small and medium-sized enterprises in six countries of Southeast Europe (SEE).
These will be SMEs listed on the stock exchanges in Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia, the EBRD said in a procurement notice late on Wednesday.
The objective of the proposed assignment is to increase the public availability of investment research for selected SMEs, the EBRD said. The bank intends to select and contract a consulting company to prepare equity research reports for listed companies which are currently receiving minimal or no research coverage.
“The aim is to increase the awareness about those companies, and to improve their market liquidity by publicly providing the investment community with high quality research reports,” the bank added.
The estimated cost of the assignment is 400,000 euro ($455,217), exclusive of VAT, and will be financed by the TaiwanBusiness EBRD Cooperation Fund.
The assignment is expected to start in May 2019 and has an estimated overall duration of 24 months.
