TIRANA (Albania), February 17 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is considering providing a loan of up to 7 million euro ($7.6 million) to finance a project for the creation of an orbital forest around Albania’s capital Tirana.
The project will be co-financed by an investment grant of up to 1.75 million euro by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the bank said in a press release on Friday.
In this context, the EBRD said, it is seeking to engage a consultant to prepare a comprehensive technical, financial, environmental and social analysis of the project, assess its feasibility and determine the most effective means of its installation and management.
The consultant's assignment will have an estimated overall duration of 7 months. The estimated cost of the assignment is 350,000 euro, exclusive of VAT. The deadline for submitting bids is March 13, 2020.
