May 19 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Thursday it has approved a senior unsecured loan of up to 5 million euro ($5.2 million) to Bosnia's ProCredit Bank to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The loan, provided under the Go Digital Pilot in BiH programme, will be used to finance investments to introduce EU standards, automation, digitalisation and green energy technologies, the EBRD said in a project summary document.
The EBRD will provide the loan in two tranches of 3 million euro and 2 million euro, respectively.
The loan will be fully guaranteed by ProCredit Bank's sole shareholder, Germany's ProCredit Holding AG & Co. KGaA.
