November 30 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it has approved a senior unsecured loan of up to 3 million euro ($3.1 million) to Kosovo's NLB Pristina (NLBP) in support of local women-led medium, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
The loan will be provided under the Western Balkans Women in Business Programme Phase II, the EBRD said in a project summary document on Tuesday.
NLB Pristina is the second largest bank in Kosovo, holding a market share of 17% by total assets as at the end of 2021. The bank employs 463 employees and serves more than 347,000 clients.
Earlier on Tuesday, the EBRD approved providing a senior unsecured loan of up to 7 million euro to NLB Pristina to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Kosovo improve their competitiveness.
