February 1 (SeeNews) - Low-cost carrier easyJet plans to launch weekly seasonal flights from Berlin's Tegel airport to Serbia's capital Belgrade in August, according to the flight schedule of the company.
The flights will be operated three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - between August 10 and October 26, and tickets are already available for sale.
EasyJet also operates flights to Switzerland's Geneva and Basel from Belgrade.
The European Commission approved easyJet's acquisition of a part of Air Berlin’s operations at Berlin Tegel late last year, which will result in easyJet operating 25 aircraft from the German capital.
In Southeast Europe (SEE), easyJet also operates flights to Slovenia's Ljubljana, Kosovo's Pristina, Montenegro's Tivat, Bulgaria's Sofia and Varna, as well as Croatia's Pula, Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar.
