BELGRADE (Serbia), October 18 (SeeNews) – Eagle Hills, a real estate developer based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said on Wednesday the BW Vista and BW Parkview residential buildings, part of the Belgrade Waterfront project, will be completed in 2019.
Overhead works were started at the BW Vista and BW Parkview projects after the construction of their basements and ground floors had been completed, Eagle Hills said in a statement.
Both buildings will be 82 metres high, with 23 floors each and will have modern residential units of different sizes - from studio flats to four-bedroom apartments. They will also have shops, restaurants, cafes, a children's playground and a kindergarten, the real estate developer said.
BW Vista and BW Parkview were designed by a team of architect studio DWP, with Matthew Engele as lead engineer.
Last month, Eagle Hills said the construction works on Belgrade Waterfront are progressing as per the project timeline, with approximately 700 workers, five main contractors and 21 consultants active across five construction sites within the project. Approximately 80,000 square metres of concrete and 12,000 tonnes of steel have been used so far as part of the first phase.
The Belgrade Waterfront project should see the development of around 177 ha of land on the right bank of the Sava river into a mixed-use residential, office and retail area, offering 5,700 housing units, 2,200 hotel rooms and capacity to accommodate 12,700 office workers.
