June 20 (SeeNews) - Electric car rental service Ride Share Bulgaria, which operates under the Spark brand, said on Thursday that it has expanded its fleet with 13 new Hyundai Ioniq electric cars.
The Hyundai Ioniq e-vehicles are already available for rent on the company's ride share platform, Spark Bulgaria said in a post on its official Facebook page.
The company has just recently added 15 new BMW i3 cars to its fleet but they are still to be included in the catalogue of the car rental service app, Spark Bulgaria said on Wednesday.
With the current expansion Ride Share's fleet now exceeds 200 electric cars. Spark has been also expanding the city zones in Sofia in which their electric cars can be rented.
Earlier this month the company said that it added 26 new Hyundai Kona to its fleet and expects to add 124 more by the end of the year.
Ride Share Bulgaria's car fleet currently comprises Nissan Leaf AC, Nissan Leaf 24, Nissan Leaf 40, Nissan eNV Passenger, Nissan eNV Cargo, VW e-up!,Hyundai Kona and Hyundai Ioniq 30 electric vehicles.
The company, established in 2017, is owned by Sofia-based E-mobility International and its Lithuanian peer UAB Ride share which operates under the Spark brand.
