SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 6 (SeeNews) – Dutch-based premium power electronics provider AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS) said it has won a major contract to provide utility-scale equipment for 13 photovoltaic power plants in Eastern Europe.
The value of the deal and the exact location of the power stations were not disclosed.

As of December, over a period of one year, AEG PC will provide complete balance of electrical systems to the plants, which each have a capacity of 20 megawatts, the company's said in a statement on its website.
“The latest contract, signed with a European customer, includes Protect PV.250 and PV.500 Solar Inverters, monitoring systems and other electrical equipment, and confirms the growing success of renewable strategy of the company, “ the statement added.
Amsterdam-based AEG PS (www.aegps.com), wholly-owned by Dutch-based 3W Power Holdings, generated revenue of 400 million euro ($516 million) in 2009 and has over 1,500 employees around the world.
