September 2 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices went up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,147 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.9 million dinars. Dunav edged down 0.07% to 1,344 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.49% at 852.62 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.76% at 1,725.95.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 12.9 million dinars ($110,000/109,900 euro) on Friday, up from 11.3 million dinars on Thursday, as 114 transactions were carried out.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 7.7 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between August 22 and 26, BELEX15 went up 0.36%, while BELEXline grew 0.26%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 57.4 million dinars, versus 1.771 billion dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 7.9 million dinars this week, down from 1.386 billion dinars last week.
