May 27 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices closed up, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,124 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 6.0 million dinars. Dunav closed up 0.17% at 1,175 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.30% at 819.05 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.14% at 1,653.79.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 2.336 billion dinars ($21.4 million/19.9 million euro) on Friday, up from 30.1 million dinars on Thursday, as 87 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 657,600 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 2.326 billion dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between May 16 and 20, BELEX15 went down 0.33%, while BELEXline fell 0.03%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 2.487 billion dinars, versus 98.5 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 2.393 billion dinars this week, up from 29.7 million dinars last week.
