January 23 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,992 Dunav Osiguranje shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.2 million dinars. Dunav Osiguranje closed up 1.29% to 1,098 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.53% at 838.01 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.27% at 1,750.84.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 7.6 million dinars ($70,600/64,700 euro) on Wednesday, down from 13.8 million dinars on Thursday, as 72 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 35,100 dinars, while trading in Treasury bonds contributed 2.7 million dinars to the total turnover.
