October 12 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed in the red on Tuesday, as insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] paced the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Dunav Osiguranje's shares closed 8.67% lower at 3,033 dinars on Tuesday. The company generated the highest turnover among the blue chips, as 223 of its shares switched hands in six transactions worth 701,473 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] gained the most in share value, as its shares ended the session 0.17% higher at 598 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.23% at 794.09 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.33% at 1,679.35.
The total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange went up to 2.35 million dinars ($23,100/20,000 euro) on Tuesday from 1.0 million dinars generated on Monday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 311,815 dinars.
