August 16 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.61% to 575.10 points on Friday, largely due to a 4.50% drop in the share price of diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], bourse data showed.
Stara Planina Hold's shares closed the trading session at 5.30 levs ($3.00/2.70 euro).
Shares of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:5CF] lost 3.13% to 1.55 levs and Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] closed 1.98% lower at 0.99 levs.
Stara Planina Hold and CCB also led decliners among members of the wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, fell by 0.37% to 113.77 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, dropped 0.51% to end the session at 506.69 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, erased 0.10% to 126.50 points, dragged down by a 0.50% decrease in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU].
Total regulated market trading turnover plunged to 207,200 levs on Friday from 1.8 million levs on Thursday.
