May 29 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) lost ground on Monday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX shed 0.39% to 660.77 points on losses at diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] and pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT], BSE data showed.
Doverie United Holding tumbled 4.32% to 8.42 levs, while Sopharma Trading fell 2.50% to 5.85 levs.
The biggest gainer on the SOFIX was Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF], which added 1.87% to 2.18 levs.
The decreases in Doverie United Holding and Sopharma Trading also set back the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 index was further pressed by a 3.85% drop at steel radiator manufacturer Korado Bulgaria [BUL:KBG] to 5.00 levs.
Overall, the BGBX40 slipped by 0.20% to 146.44 points, while the BGTR30 closed 0.25% lower at 743.76 points.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only index to close higher, rising by 0.76% to 189.84 points. It was buoyed by the rise at Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT, along with a 1.86% climb in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.28 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market surged to 2.94 million levs ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro) on Monday from 633,259 levs on Friday.
The day's top stock by turnover was financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC]. It generated a turnover of 75,036 levs after 72,850 of its shares changed hands. The stock closed 0.96% lower at 1.03 levs.
