March 24 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed lower on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX shedding 0.24% to 601.32 points.
SOFIX was dragged down by diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], which went down by 2.06% to 7.62 levs. Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] followed, erasing 2.05% to 38.20 levs after it experienced another emergency stoppage at its nitric acid production unit.
Doverie United Holding and Neochim also set back the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The top loser in the index, however, was software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH], which fell by 2.33% to 0.63 levs. Overall, the BGTR30 closed 0.40% lower at 715.13 points.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, erased 0.29% to 138.59 points. It was pushed down by IT services provider Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS], which dropped by 4.85% to 9.80 levs, along with the losses at Sirma Group Holding, Doverie United Holding and Neochim.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed unchanged at 184.50 points.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse rose to 519,422 levs ($288,921/265,575 euro) on Friday from 321,908 levs on Thursday.
The day's top stock by turnover was diversified group Synthetica [BUL:SYN], which generated 131,500 levs with 2,630 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 50.00 levs.
