May 22 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX was the only index to close lower on Monday out of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), edging down 0.08% to 656.47 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was dragged down by diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], which fell 1.16% to 8.52 levs, and First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:FIB], which lost 0.97% to 2.04 levs.
On the other hand, the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.11% to 146.89 points. It was buoyed by a 6.00% jump in venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 21.20 levs and a 5.45% climb in express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] to 116.00 levs.
Eleven Capital also boosted the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The rise in the index was further helped by a gain of 3.45% to 6.00 levs in pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] and closed 0.34% higher at 745.12 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.12% to 189.75 points. It was lifted by a 0.58% gain in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.48 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange dropped to 483,152 levs ($266,992/247,031 euro) on Monday from 1.05 million levs on Friday.
IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] was the day's most liquid stock, generating a turnover of 95,865 levs with 3,850 shares traded. Allterco's shares closed 0.40% higher at 24.90 levs.
