January 25 (SeeNews) - German drugstore chain dm drogerie markt will open its 23th store in North Macedonia on January 26, the local unit of the company said.
The new store will be located in Stip City Mall, a shopping mall in the eastern city, dm North Macedonia said in a statement, noting that this will be the second dm store in the mall.
In 2022, dm marked its tenth year of operation on North Macedonia's market.
Dm North Macedonia invested 70 million denars ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) on modernisation of shops and expansion in the country in financial year 2020-2021, according to the latest data available.
Currently, dm drogerie markt is present in ten cities in North Macedonia, operating 22 stores. Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe, dm operates in Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia and Bulgaria.
