October 25 (SeeNews) - dm Croatia, part of German cosmetics and consumer goods retailer dm-drogerie markt, said its sales revenue increased 4.8% to 2.22 billion kuna ($331 million/298 million euro) in the financial year 2018/2019 ended in September.
In the reviewed period, dm invested 53.7million kuna in the expansion and modernisation of its sales network throughout Croatia, planning to invest 61.5 million kuna next year, it said in a statement on Thursday.
"In the past business year we continued to invest in expanding the sales network and opened four new stores and revamped 18 existing ones," the head of dm Croatia, Mirko Mrakuzic, said in the statement.
He said the company opened as well three new over-the-counter (OTC) departments and registered 31% growth in the turnover of its OTC segment.
dm-drogerie runs 161 stores located in 61 Croatian cities, employing 1,565 people.
