November 15 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of German cosmetics and consumer goods chain dm-drogerie markt said that its revenue rose by 12% year-on-year to 175 million levs ($102.4 million/89.5 million euro) in fiscal year 2020/2021 ended September 30.
The retail chain's investments in Bulgaria increased by an annual 24% to some 6.7 million levs during the 2020/2021 fiscal year, dm Bulgaria said in a statement last week.
The investments were made mostly in expansion and renovation of the chain of dm stores in the country. In the 12 months to end-September 2021 dm Bulgaria increased the number of its stores by six, to 93.
The company said it plans to have over 100 stores in Bulgaria in the next financial year.
dm Bulgaria employed 883 people at the end of September.
