May 14 (SeeNews) - Deposits of the non-government sector in Bulgarian banks rose by an annual 7.7% to 69.75 billion levs ($42.7 billion/35.7 billion euro) at the end of March, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Monday.
On a quarterly basis, the value of deposits of the non-government sector was 0.2% lower at the end of March, BNB said in a monetary statistics report.
Corporate deposits by the non-financial sector amounted to 21.67 billion levs at the end of March, up by an annual 13.0%.
Household deposits were 5.5% higher on the year at 48.07 billion levs at the end of March.
