April 26 (SeeNews) - The value of deposits of the non-government sector in Bulgarian banks rose to 68.6 billion levs ($38.2 billion/35.1 billion euro) as of end-March, up 8.4% year-on-year, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Wednesday.
Corporate deposits of the non-financial sector grew by an annual 10% to 19.2 billion levs as of end-March, after increasing by an annual 7.9% in the previous month, BNB said in a monthly monetary statistics report.
Household deposits grew 6.4% year-on-year in March to 45.5 billion levs, compared to an annual increase of 6.1% recorded as of end-February.
