May 25 (SeeNews) - The value of deposits of the non-government sector in Bulgarian banks rose to 68.4 billion levs ($39.3 billion/35.0 billion euro) by the end of April, up 7.6% year-on-year, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Thursday.
Corporate deposits by the non-financial sector grew by an annual 9.0% to 18.8 billion levs at the end of April, after increasing by an annual 10.1% in the previous month, BNB said in a monthly monetary statistics report.
Household deposits went up 5.5% year-on-year in April to 45.6 billion levs, compared to an annual increase of 6.4% recorded at the end of March.
