April 24 (SeeNews) - Delhaize Serbia will hold the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a new distribution centre in Stara Pazova on April 25, the office of Serbian trade minister Rasim Ljajic said in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, Serbian media reported that the logistic hub will see the construction of 70,000 square metres of commercial space during the first phase with a further 50,000 square metres to be added during the second phase of the project.
Belgium's Delhaize Group entered the Serbian market in 2011 after acquiring Serbian supermarket chain Delta Maxi.
Stara Pazova is located in the southern part of Serbia's Vojvodina province.
