April 18 (SeeNews) - Delhaize Serbia said it plans to build a new distribution center that will support its growing retail network.
The construction of the distribution center should be completed during the second half of next year, the company confirmed for SeeNews in an email on Tuesday.
Delhaize Serbia has multiple possibilities for the location of the logistics facility and Stara Pazova is one of them, the company said, adding that a final decision about the location is yet to be made.
Stara Pazova is a town and municipality in northern Serbia.
In July 2011, Belgium's Delhaize Group completed the acquisition of Serbian supermarket chain Delta Maxi.
