March 18 (SeeNews) - The number of cruise passengers who visited Montenegro in 2020 slumped 99.5% to 3,007, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of cruise ship calls handled by Montenegro's seaports in 2020 decreased to nine from 490 in the previous year, the office of statistics said in a statement on Wednesday.
Cruise ship calls were recorded only in the first quarter of 2020, the statistical office said.
In 2019, Montenegrin seaports serviced 649,038 cruise passengers, up 28.2%, while the number of cruise ship calls rose 15.6% to 490.
