November 24 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Zvecevo [ZSE:ZVCV-R-A] said it appointed Tomislav Bujanovic its new CEO as of Wednesday.
On November 23, the company's supervisory board accepted the resignation of Krunoslav Alvir from the position of CEO and decided that he would stay in the company's management as member of the board, Zvecevo said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse on Tuesday.
In September, Zvecevo said that it signed a deal to sell its spirits production division to JAP 1921, a unit of consumer goods distributor Alca Zagreb, for an undisclosed sum. The proceeds from the sale will be used to complete the company's financial restructuring and focus on the chocolate segment, the company said back then.
Zvecevo's shares last traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on November 11, closing at 30 kuna ($4.5/4.0 euro), bourse data showed.
