February 26 (SeeNews) - Croatia's baking company Zagrebacke Pekarne Klara [ZSE:ZPKL] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit skyrocketed to 4.8 million kuna ($694,985/638,530 euro) in 2019, from 689,857 kuna a year earlier.
Klara's operating revenue increased by 1.4% to 403 million kuna, while its operating costs edged up 0.4% to 396 million kuna, the baking company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The company's total assets rose slightly to 221.6 million kuna at the end of December, from 221.0 million kuna at end-2018.
Local individual Dragica Plodinec is the largest shareholder in the bakery firm with a 24.54% stake, followed by a custodian account at Zagrebacka Banka with 19.97%, insurer HOK Osiguranje with 17.62% and bakery retail chain Mlin i Pekare with 15.57%, February 26 ZSE data showed. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
Zagrebacke Pekarne Klara's shares last traded on ZSE on September 27, 2019, closing up 25% at 100 kuna.
