June 11 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] said on Monday it held 140,692 of its own shares, representing 0.04% of the bank's issued share capital.
On June 11, the lender completed the acquisition of 1,295 of its own shares, representing 0.0004% of its share capital, ZABA said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
On March 26, Zagrebacka Banka announced the launch of a programme for the repurchase of 60,000 of its own shares by the middle of April. On April 19, it withdrew 271,544 acquired shares, or 0.08% of its share capital, and distributed them among its employees.
On May 24, ZABA decided to purchase a further 550,547 of its own shares by July 30. The repurchased shares will also be granted to the employees of the bank.
