July 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] swung to a consolidated net profit of 7.7 million kuna ($1.2 million/1.0 euro) in the first half of 2019, from a loss of 4.2 million kuna a year earlier, it said on Wednesday.
The company's total revenue dropped 5.5% on the year to 136.4 million kuna in the first half, while total costs dropped to 128.7 million kuna from 148.5 million kuna, Viktor Lenac said in an unaudited financial report filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Viktor Lenac employed 393 people at the end of June.
The company's shares traded at 5.80 kuna by 13:03 CET on Wednesday on the ZSE, up 3.57%.
