August 7 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday, as shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the Croatian blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares closed 4.81% higher at 5.45 kuna.
Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] led the blue-chip losers, as its shares fell 1.58% to 374 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, of 1.7 million kuna. Valamar Riviera's shares closed 0.53% lower at 37.70 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover edged up to 4.7 million kuna ($714,562/636,580 euro) on Wednesday, from 4.4 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX rose 0.08% to 1,899.52 on Wednesday after dropping 0.33% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, edged up 0.03% to 1,103.20 after decreasing 0.30% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.04% to 116.0973.
